Τι χρονιά κι αυτή! Για την ακρίβεια ήταν μια μη-χρονιά, καθώς από τον Μάρτιο είναι σαν να μπήκαμε σε μια κάψουλα “προστασίας” από την οποία ουσιαστικά δεν απεγκλωβιστήκαμε ακόμη. Το χειρότερο είναι ότι σε αντίθεση με την μη-άνοιξη που μας πέρασε, τώρα ατενίζουμε το επόμενο έτος με μια αίσθηση ότι όλα αυτά που (δεν) ζούμε θα διαρκέσουν για πολύ ακόμη. Βέβαια, δεν είναι θέμα εγκαρτέρησης, αλλά αλλαγής προτύπων, παραδειγμάτων και κανόνων διαβίωσης, σημείων που αχνοφαίνονται ακόμη.
Η μουσική, όμως, που χωρά σε όλα αυτά; Βρήκαμε όντως χρόνο να αφοσιωθούμε σε αυτήν; Μάλλον όχι καθώς η πίεση των περίκλειστων συνθηκών συνήθως μας ωθεί να σκοτώνουμε τον χρόνο μας και όχι να τον εκμεταλλευόμαστε όπως ιδανικά θα θέλαμε. Παρ’ όλα’ αυτά, φέτος βγήκαν ωραίες μουσικές και αναμένονται και του χρόνου να βγουν πάμπολλες. Η ανθρώπινη δημιουργία, ως ένα μέρος της φύσης μας που ακόμη αντιδράει, δεν υποχώρησε καθώς το 2020 ήταν γεμάτο όχι μόνο με δίσκους που ήταν προγραμματισμένοι να βγουν από τα πριν, αλλά και από ιδέες και δουλειές που γεννήθηκαν κατά την αλλόκοτη διάρκεια του. Επιτυχημένες ή όχι, στην παρούσα φάση δεν έχει σημασία. Αυτό που προέχει είναι ότι η μουσική δημιουργία δε στέκει μόνο ως ένας τρόπος επιβίωσης μέσα σε όλη αυτή την παράνοια που ζούμε, αλλά πιθανόν και ως ένα μέσο αντίδρασης και αφύπνισης εναντίον της. Ενίοτε, η απλή ακρόαση μπορεί να διαθέτει αυτά τα επαναστατικά χαρακτηριστικά σε ένα κόσμο που φαντάζει σαν να κουράστηκε από όλα και θέλει απλώς να πάει για ύπνο. Έχοντας στο νου μας τέτοιου είδους ακροάσεις φέτος αποφασίσαμε να ανοίξουμε τους ορίζοντες μας, προσκαλώντας κόσμο που ασχολείται με τη μουσική να καταγράψει δίπλα στις δικές μας επιλογές τους δίσκους που ξεχώρισε το 2020, πιστεύοντας ακράδαντα ότι και του χρόνου οι ενδιαφέροντες δίσκοι δεν θα υπάρχουν σε έλλειψη!
