Οι «δε χρειάζονται συστάσεις» SECT μπορούν άνετα να θεωρηθούν βιρτουόζοι της hardcore μουσικής σκηνής, (η συμμετοχή τους σε μεγάλες μπάντες του είδους το επιβεβαιώνει) επιδεικνύοντας γαλόνια εμπειρίας και μαεστρίας.

Στο νέο άλμπουμ τους Blood of the Beasts, μέσα απο δέκα τραγούδια και συνολική διάρκεια 15 λεπτά κατανοείς πλήρως τί εστί hardcore punk. Βαβούρα και οργή συνθέτουν ένα μεταλλικό κράμα έντασης και σκληρότητας, έναν ηχητικό καταιγισμό. Ο Colohan τραγουδά ξεκάθαρα και με πάθος. Οι στίχοι δεν αραδιάζονται απλά και άτακτα, βγαίνουν από τα σωθικά του με τόση δύναμη που, σε στιγμές, «καπελώνουν» την ίδια τη μουσική. Στίχοι με κοινωνικοπολιτικό περιεχόμενο, που ενεργοποιούν τη σκέψη και την κρίση κάθε ανθρώπου, για την απαξίωση της εξουσίας, για τους υποταγμένους, για την αγάπη, για την ελπίδα.

The band SECT doesn’t need recommendations; they can easily be considered virtuosos of the hardcore music scene (their participation in great bands of the genre confirms this), displaying tones of experience and mastery.

In their new album Blood Of The Beasts, after ten songs and a total duration of 15 minutes you can fully understand what hardcore punk is: a hustle and a rage form a metallic amalgam of intensity and cruelty, a thunderstorm. Colohan sings clearly and passionately. The lyrics are not simple in their meaning neither disorderly; they come out with such force that they “catch on” to the music itself at some points. They are diving into social issues and politics triggering every person’s thinking and judgment about the depreciation of power about the subordinates, about love, about hope.
