Against a silent 2014 – this year’s 30 top records

Άλλη μια χρονιά έφτασε στο τέρμα της. Ως εγχείρημα μας άφησε την ίδια γλυκιά γεύση που είχαν αφήσει και οι προηγούμενες, αυτή της συνέχισης της από κοινού ενασχόλησης με κάτι που μας προσφέρει ευχαρίστηση, αλλά ταυτόχρονα αποτελεί και μέσο έκφρασης και αναζήτησης. Χωρίς να επιθυμούμε ή να περιμένουμε καμία αναγνώριση, βλέπουμε το κλείσιμο του 2014 ως μια ευκαιρία να εμπλουτίσουμε όπως μπορούμε κατά την χρονιά που μας έρχεται το againstthesilence, επιμορφώνοντας τους ίδιους μας τους εαυτούς. Εφόδιο παραμένει πάντα η κάθε μουσική και γενικότερα η κάθε ιδέα και σκέψη που κουβαλάμε μέσα μας. Yet another year comes to an end. As a venture, it left us with the same delicate taste as any other previous year, that sweetness deriving from the continuation of this joint occupation with something that gives us pleasure, all the while being a means of personal expression and searching. Without desiring or expecting any recognition for what we accomplished, we regard 2014’s end as an opportunity to enhance againsththesilence any way we can as the year progresses, educating our very own selves in the process. Our everlasting resource is music and generally any idea and thought we carry in our minds. Here we propose our purely subjective selections from musical fragments that stood out during the foregoing year.
